Join Nature Salt Spring for this fun and educational event at “The Raptors” (formerly “Pacific Northwest Raptor Centre”). The field trip begins with a special tour of the facilities with raptor expert guides, followed by a captivating flying demonstration. Get up close with many spectacular raptors. Experience species such as eagles, hawks, owls, and vultures as they soar over your head. We will learn about raptor species from around the world, their important ecosystem roles, threats they face, and how you can help protect them. Come early and bring your lunch!

• 12:45: Group tour (20-30 mins)

• 1:30: Fly demo

Children (4-12): $11 *

* Children under 13 who are also members of NatureKidsBC will get in free! Please contact us to arrange this.

Note: Due to the ongoing avian flu issue all attendees will be required to use a shoe bath before entering the center.
